FUTURE Montgomery magazine is looking for enthusiastic and eager Outside Sales Professionals to sell consultative advertising and marketing programs by soliciting orders from local businesses and advertising agencies in accordance with the Company's sales programs, strategies and policies. This is a commission-based position with unlimited income opportunity!
Requirements:
- The primary responsibility of the commission-based Account Executive will be to skillfully gain business and increase existing business.
- The FUTURE Montgomery Account Executive will work with the Sales Manager to set personal sales goals and will be responsible for developing and operating a profitable sales territory through in-person calls, correspondence, and telephone contact.
- Applicant should have superior customer contact experience, with preference for business to consumer sales. Experience in advertising and marketing is a plus.
- Experience with strong relationship building skills and entrepreneurial drive is essential.
- The successful candidate will have exceptional presentation and communication skills, the ability to organize, plan, report effectively, and master all aspects of our print and web-based products.

Senior Production Artist — LWT Communications, Montgomery, AL
The Senior Production Artist (SPA) is an active Production Artist who primarily receives comps and specs from Senior Art Directors and fulfills traditional and digital production requirements. The SPA also oversees assigned production work performed by Graphic Artists to ensure accurate fulfillment of agency production artwork and digital pre-press file requirements.
At least five years experience related to ad resizing, redesign & preparation; brochure & publication layout; signage & display design; and other advertising art production related tasks is required. A broad knowledge of printing techniques and requirements, inks, papers, digital pre-press, and typography/font management is ideal. Must be an expert in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign as well as QuarkXpress and other industry design and production software.
An extremely efficient organizer and scheduler with the ability to consistently process and deliver a steady flow of agency projects, the SPA must also be able to train, mentor and motivate other creative department staff members to do the same. Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills are a necessity.

This is responsible work assisting in the coordination of public relations activities through the Public Information Office of the Alabama Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation. Employees in this class are responsible for promoting public awareness of mental illness, intellectual disabilities and substance addiction illness through the department’s web site and other media in conjunction with the strategies and projects developed through the Public Information Office. Employees work independently and receive supervision from the Director of Public Information for the Department.
Qualifications are as follows: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Graphic Arts, Web design, or a related field with some (12 months or more) experience in Web design, Graphic Design, Public Relations or Media.
